Posts: 134 11/14/08 12:49	Tags : None A good friend of the family came out deer hunting in the area, and this year we did our best to set him up for a good deer instead of the forkhorns he usually tags out on. After seeing this buck on a trail camera in the same spot for a few days, we sent him to the spot and told him to wait.... right there! For a change, he listened and was rewarded for his 5 minutes of patience. Good job Len!!

Posts: 134 11/18/08 12:15	For the year, he is a very good buck John. The last 2 winters were very hard on the deer and we aren't seeing much for mature bucks. I have come across the odd big track but for the most part the only bucks that have survived have been younger deer. I filled my wt tag last night on a young 4X5, not huge but I'm happy with him. I have a few trailcam pics of him but having technical difficulties getting it onto my pc. Until then, here's my 08.

Posts: 134 11/19/08 9:00	I might not find alot of sheds but will still get out looking. Because of concerns about winter feeding/CWD I didn't set up my feeder last winter but it will be filled for the deer as soon as season ends. They need all the help they can get.
