DO YOU PRACTICE SHOOTING!!!!!!
I am disappointed by the lack of participation that I see at the Out Door Activities
section of this web site. Why on earth don't more members get off there butts and
make some shoots and post the local events that are all around us threw out this state?
If you are worried that other shoots are going to laugh at you skill you are wrong.
The only way you master a weapon is by lots of well disciplined practice.
If you are not sure JUST ASK some one at the host club. More time than not I think
they will try send you out with a shooter that might be able to help you learn the ropes
of 3 D archery. You don't have to shoot for score or you don't have to turn in a card.

Yes I do practice shooting in the backyard at my sandhill. I made a shooting bench with the bags and enjoy it very much. Every once in a while I will make it
out to a conservation club and shoot some clay's.

I like to go to DSC and shoot their 3D.$10 for 30 stations through the woods and all kinds of different setups.I try and shoot that place as much as I can.It
is the closest thing to hunting in the off season.

I go through about 200 rounds of 223, 1000 of 22LR, 50 of 357, 200 45ACP, 300 9mm, and 200 380s a month... Toss in 100 or so 06 the couple weeks before deer
season... I havent started competitive competition shooting.. but i do shoot in local long range matches... Fortunately all the 22 LR brass and ooolllddd 223
brass make me enough money recycling to buy most of my new brass.... me and a buddy cast our own bullets for the most part...

I try to shoot all year around if i get a chance. Me and rob like doing the 3d shoots but this year is going to be different,were starting this weekend to shot
every weekend.

I'm lucky here, the local Archery club has a range on the mountain...60 targets on one side, 55 on the other. cut through the woods, 5 ft tall bales with
animal targets...all told walking both courses covers 4 miles.
